Furthermore, the human society is learning step by step on how to cope with the new participants, the virtual self.  We are very proud to invite international industry veteran to share their experience so far and also to shed lights upon what’s going to come from their perspective.

Daniel Gregoire

CEO and Founder of Halon Entertainment

The founder of HALON, Daniel Gregoire, has nearly 20 years of experience in the fields of film, TV and games, and is in a creative leadership position. He has overseen hundreds of high-profile projects, including the World War. Kung Fu Panda, Spider-Man 3, Fantasy Drifting of Teenage Pi, Birdman or ("The Surprise of Ignorance", "Jurassic World", "The Hunger Games", "Ape-Man: Rise of the Apes", "Alice Mirror "Curious Encounter", "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "Deep Sea Catastrophe", "Logan" and "King Kong: Skull Island". Daniel is a pioneer in this field, and he himself was the most exciting film director in many industries ( Including JJ Abraham (Abrams), George Lucas (George Lucas), Jon Favreau (Jon Favreau), M. Night Shyamalan, Michael Mann (Michael Mann), Baz Luhrmann (Baz Luhrmann) ) And Steven Spielberg (Steven Spielberg). After starting his career at JAK Films in Skywalker Ranch, Daniel worked with Lucas as "Star Wars: Episode Two-Attack of the Clones", "Star Wars: The third episode-Revenge of the Sith" and the supervisor of the edited version of THX 1138 directed by George Lucas. In 2003, Gregoire established Previs professional studio HALON in Los Angeles, and cooperated with DreamWorks Animation, Pella Mongolia, Universal, Apple, AMD, The Mill, Method, NBC, Disney and other companies have established innovative partnerships. Daniel recently directed real-time for the award-winning Evolve, Ubisoft’s The Division’s E3 announcement trailer and XCOM 2 Video game movies. He is the animation director in the iconic Fox series "Universe: A Space Odyssey", and he also directed virtual movies. Reality has experienced FIRST and Vanuatu Dreams for his adventure MATTERvr. Takeshi Osaka

CEO and Founder of Activ8 Inc.

Born in Japan in 1986. After graduating from university, he carried out a rich business development and management plan in a company that develops online media and content. In 2015, he was appointed as the head of the Japanese branch of Global CG Studio, which is headquartered in San Francisco, USA.
After becoming a freelancer, he founded Activ8 Co., Ltd. in September 2016 to realize a system that can live in a virtual world and became a representative director (current position). With the mission of "increasing the choices in the world we live in", we develop our business centered on cutting-edge technology and next-generation media. Our goal is to become a global competitive company in Japan by developing virtual talents, xR content, and optimized content for YouTube, Tiktok, etc.

Norman Wang

CEO and Founder of Glassbox Technologies

Norman is a passionate technical expert and serial entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in serious games and virtual reality, and has worked with world-class partners such as NASA and Epic Games. He worked with The Foundry is responsible for VR post-production process tools and co-founded Glassbox Technology with Mariana Acuna, a global high-end customer business, to change the media and entertainment industry.

 

Outside of Glassbox, Norman is a PhD researcher in the field of computer vision and cognitive science, and has a keen interest in how technology affects human perception.

Phil Tang

General Manager of Hancao Pictures

He used to be Deputy Director and Program Manager of Hakka TV Station, Director of the Office of the Director of Da Ai TV Station, Deputy Manager of the Drama Department, and convener of art and literature programs. Founded the first Hakka modern puppet troupe "Puppet Opera Troupe". He has served as director, reporter, record producer, planning, songwriting and publishing. He has been invited to serve as Golden Melody Award, Golden Music Award, and Pop Award many times. Judging the original contest.
